I need to remove the centre console on my wife's Fabia 2.

It's the 1.2 HTP model and I'm fitting heated seats along with original Skoda switches.

I've took out the little tray at the back and the handbrake slot cover.

There are velcro retainers on the front sides but no other fixings to see.

please help!!!!

When you remove all the screws it will come off when you pull gently.

You might need to remove the handbrake cover (I did on mine as it was leather). This is tricky. First find the plastic clip which holds it on. This is on the underside of the handbrake lever towards the back of the straight part and just before it bends downwards. I had to make a small cut in my cover to get at it. Then, using a small straight screwdriver, pull the clip towards the windscreen and pull forwards on the handbrake cover at the same time. It should come off but be patient.

You also beed to remove the cover piece in front of the handbrake but this just clips out. There are 2 screws at the front of the console and 1 at the back. All are under rubber mats in the cup holders. The velcro strips at the front just peel apart. Re-fitting is just the reverse of the above. Let us know how you get on and good luck. Thanks.
