Another Bush Question

Featured Replies

Hello, i recently had my car serviced and came back that the bottom arm bushes have perished (surprise surprise) what i dont know however (after going on the superpro website) is do i need the front control arm front bush kit or the front control arm rear kit or both? After a lot of searching i THINK its the rear kit but wanted to make sure also i was planning on going for all super pro parts but i gather this might not be the best/cheapest way to get that improved feel and handling?

Also should i be looking to replace the front anti roll bar bushes and the engine steady rear bush at the same time to improve handling further? Any more light that can be shed on this would be very appreciated.

Thanks Simon

They will be refering to your rear lower arm bushes mate.

Personally I went for superpro 70k dog bone bush, cupra rear lower arm bushes, powerflex front lower arm bushes and 19mm arb bushes. This imo is the most bang for your buck so to speak and the difference they make is great.

Just been doing my online shopping list and was wondering what age cupra I need to get the cupra rear lower bushes from? Any part numbers or place to buy would be brilliant. Also stupid question but wanted to makes sure, is a set of two powerflex front wishbone bushes enough to do both sides? Or will I need 2 sets? 4 total.

Thanks Simon

Cheers, appreciate the link :D

I just fitted a complete set of Superpro bushes (front and rear) and also the Superpro dogbone bush. Was amazed at the difference it has made especially the dogbone, seems like the car pulls a lot stronger.

What a let-down......I thought this thread was about something completely different! :p
