hi there guys..need some of your ideas and advice pls,i just learned that my engine management light has been disabled i say this cos one of the members here told me that the EML should show up when turning the ignition just like the rest of the warning light,so if this is the case can i still have it scanned for faults?and what is the difference between the VCDS and VAG COM?and which of them perfectly suit my car?sorry guys just ignorant with these kind of stuff..thanks a lot

ever considered the bulb to be burnt out ?

and yes, it can still be scanned for faults, although i've never personally seen a car with disabled CEL before

My CEL light doesn't come on with the ignition either. Have no idea why. Anyone know if it is an easy job to get to the back of the cluster?

yeah i thought about that but i dont think its a DIY job so i might have to pay someone to do that, but i dont mind that as long it can still be scanned..does any garage have the vcds?thanks men..
