Octy vRS rear washer not working

Featured Replies

Ive had my 04 plate VRS for a few days now, and just came to use the rear window washer/wiper, and no water is coming out. The tank is full, but there it does seem to be taking water when I try to use the washer. CAn't see any obvious leaks. Is there a common problem with these, or am I going to have to take it to a dealership for work under warranty?

Also, I've got a couple of mystery rattles which are driving me mad. One coming from the window heater on the dash, the other near the ignition.....

Cheers

Yeah that sounds like it, just had a feel and my carpet is wet :(

Had a quick look at getting to the pipe but it's blood cold. Will have a proper play tomorrow. Any tips as to how I get to it? The CD changer doesnt seem to want to move.

Cheers again

If theres a trace of water in the n/s then you only need to pull down the carpet (assuming its a hatchback). Pop the pipe back on, a touch of super glue on the edge will stop it popping off again but go steady with it.

If its not leaking there it will be on the rubber pipe to the wiper motor behind the hatch panel.

Put a jubilee clip on it. That's what the stealer did to mine, and I have had no probs from no on.

Spot of super glue and I'm all sorted now, cheers for the help.

Any idea on the odd vibrations? Nothing loud, just once I've heard em, it's all I can hear :D

Cheers
