Heater dash bulb

Featured Replies

My heater control dash bulb has blown is it a simple job to change it. I have a octavia 2002 1.9tdi the one with a/c.

Yeah, remove the blower knob by pulling it straight out and there's a small bulb behind it, pull it out with long nose pliers and replace. Job takes less than 5 minutes.

Edit: by blower knob I mean the smallest of the three, the fan speed one!

It went into the garage today for an other elec problem so they had a look at said it was an led module which would cost me £80 to fix. Is it led or a straight forward bulb?

Straight forward bulb, no LEDs anywhere in the octy mk1 unless they are in the rlec windows switches but the blowers are 100% powered by 1 bulb. I would change garages as they obviously haven't looked at it and are rip off merchants!
