BlackCircles.com

Featured Replies

Following on from my question on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's for my Octavia, I've found them on Blackcircles.com for £109,52 each fully fitted.

Has anyone used Blackcircles.com before and what did you think of the service you got from them?

Thanks.

I used BlackCircles last summer. I had no problems, had a couple of Falcon ZE-912s fitted to my Roomster. Good tyres at a good price.

However your question is not really about BlackCircles, it is about the garage that you choose to get the tyres changed at. I chose one of their Premier Garages as I knew the place in question was a good garage.

BlackCircles are good, you book your time and place, and they give you a booking number that you quote when you turn up. But as said it is the garage you choose that actually does the swapping on your car.

One thing I would also recommend with tyre fitting is clean your wheels first and take photos of each wheel. The Blackcircles form has diagrams of each wheel where you agree to damage before they change the tyres. That way you can check they did not add any scratches to your rims.

I think that going in with a clean car and shiny wheels shows you care about your motor and then maybe they will too.

Ooo, that's a thought I better look for the locking nut for the wheels as I might not get them off! emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

As for my wheels there's no marks on the rims so if any appear they'll get a rollocking.

I used them for the last 5 or 6 times

As said though its really just cheaper tyres fitted at a garage of your choice (assuming they are on the blackcircles list)

I've asctually had my chocie of fitter trying to sell me tyres direct and i told him i'd be back when he matched the black circles price (which he did so i was!)

if your a tesco shopper it might be worth checking out www.tesco-tyres.com

It's bascially a rebranded blackcircles website so you can gain clubcard points

I always get the Black Circles price for the tyres and then go to their local fitter to see if he can get a better price for the same tyre.

Never failed yet!!

I've found that you can get cashback if you login via Quidco too. :)

Used Blackcircles a few times and find their service to be OK.

However like aubrey mentioned the internet part is good, it's the final fitting at the garage in question that is the crucial part.

It is a good benchmark though and you can't go wrong in taking the BC price and using it to quote against.

Have used BC several times, supply only for home delivery as I had a tame tyre fitter, (son was an apprentice with Jaguar).

No problems, delivery on time every time.

Have a mate who was looking for tyres couple of month back, local garage was dearer then BC, ordered through BC and the same local garage fitted them thu BC, strange way of working.

Black Circles are just an agent for lots of independent tyre fitters, my experience based on the tyre fitter I used was not good. But like I said not necessarily a Black Circles issue.

Wrong way around.

The fitters act as AGENTS for Black Circles.

Black Circles is an on-line tyre retailer.

I've ordered from them in the past, peed off the fitting garage lol they wanted £15 per tyre more than black circles for the same tyre! Don't think they were happy when I broadcasted it in the Que when I was getting them fitted lol

Have used them several times for tyres on the vRS and my daughters 106 (yes, I know!)

Never had a problem with their service but do agree that the right tyre fitter is crucial to the service.

Find a good one and you should be laughing.
