Nice to see the dials are white to match climatronic/radio (in my Roomster, they are green) but it doesn't quite go all the way as the climatronic/radio buttons are still green illuminated.

Anyway the real surprise is the DSG. It's very different to my Roomster (both are 1.2TSi/DSG). It appears that there's no roundabout hesitation, which is obvioulsy a great improvement but...., it isn't as smooth in the changes as the Roomster. 1/2/3 are quite noticable actually where the other one is literally inperceptable.

Anyway, I'm wondering whether there is/will be a software update for the 7-spd boxes?

I assume this was a favourable error for you?

More interested in the DSG differences though. The new 'box behaves totally differently to that from six-months ago during deceleration, far more eager to shift down and then holds on to the revs a bit more too. Response on the infamous roundabout approach is instant.

same here, I have never had the slightest problem, hesitation, slow speed manouvers ect ect.. people with DSG problems have driven my car and commented on how different it is...

BUT mine is an old car! 60 plate vRS... so I would, er , 'hesitate' to say its different software

Someone a few weeks ago posted up a bulletin/software update for the 7spd DSG...I've got the details at home, can't find the thread at the mo...
