Came on this morning saying 1000 miles to go before service due.

I've done 17,100 miles. Have to sort out where to go-Milton Keynes, Bedford or Peterborough. Still concerned about the noisy cold start although MK said it was fine. It's a real racket for a few minutes - quite embarrassing really. Keep looking for a big pile of oil or bolts on the floor underneath!!??

That's a good result on mileage and variable servicing! I can recommend WJH Motors in Bedford. Presumably you have read the Artice below about the 1.8T and noise on startup?
