Tyre preassure and Heavy Steering

Featured Replies

Finaly got to the bottom of my Heavy Steering after my new suspension fitting.

The garage had taken air out of my tyres, setting them all at 30 psi , their gauge must have been wrong anyway as the fronts were 2.10 bar and 2.0, this must have caused the pull to the left.

Anyhow I have set fronts at 2.30 and rears at 2.10.(as skoda rec :D comend)

It feels great now light and ballanced, must admit i did go to two garages to check readings.

but i though 2 bar was about 30 psi

1 bar is 14.5 psi so 30psi is 2.06 bar

As i said their gauge was faulty, and they had the wrong idea of preassures anyway.

All is well now.
