i have a parrot mki9200 in my Fab Vrs...trying to get my Ipod linked up... display shows song playing on the Ipod, but radio still plays through the speakers. The manual from Parrot is awful . Do I need the radio on/off ? any clues

I don't have the mki9200 but starting from the ground up you have an iPod cable going from the back of the head unit to your iPod and it is connected? When you say the display shows the song playing on the iPod, do you mean the iPod's display or the parrot's display shows the song playing? In theory if you select iPod as the source on the Parrot it should allow you t browse your iPod and play what you select on the head unit.

I use to fit these for a living! When they work - they are great - when they start to act up, they are an arse! Do you have a usb drive with some mp3's on it? If so test that too. The 9200i doesnt support all ipods - what model ipod do you have? and what version of software is it using? has it ever worked on this system before? Was it fitted recently?? It maybe an idea to pull the radio out and check all the connectors on the blue control box. Does the ipod cable being plugged into your ipod charge it?? If not then the accessories cable has come loose!
