Glueing bit of tyre back on?

Featured Replies

Got a wheel with a tyre which has a bit of a slice in it, not deep, but I would like to glue back the flappy bit of rubber just for aesthetics. Any idea which would be the best adhesive? I have access to superglue but wondered if something else would be more suitable?

I've seen someone use Tigerseal to do the same thing.

ah right - that's that polyurethane black gunk isn't it. Think the mesh on my front bumper is held on with that. :D

Have you tried some of your black mascara you tart. :giggle:

Have you got a death wish or something. Stick a tyre back together indeed.

t'is only a nick - its not going to blow out or anything. :p

Evostick or similar flexible contact adhesive would be my choice, or tigerseal/sikaflex as suggested.
