VRS booked in for Remap and Rolling Road

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I must say what use this forum has been to me as have numerous threads regarding remapping my Favia VRS.

Now the car is in the process of being remapped i would like more advice for being clutch friendly?

I have read that obviously trying 0-60 runs will do no favour at all and also being in a high gear and low revs (below 2k) can destroy the clutch...

What about if after first gear you drive it fast to the limiter in every gear? would that reduce the torque?

I don't drive fast but have to admit do love the torque the car produces.

Also after every run i leave the car at idle for a minute before switching off as from what i heard this prolongs the life of the turbo?

I also went for a more curved out map as i was going to get a Revo but was told they are aggressive and the clutch won't hold out if the car was used to its full potential.

Will update this post later when i get my dyno results.

All advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Daniel
