Hi new Octavia MK2 VRS petrol showing 12.9 miles to the gallon urban and 22 out of town not heavy on right foot, well not all the time!!! thought I would have got a bit more. Has anybody had their's remapped and was fuel consumption better.

from new mine was showing an average of about 33mpg

i have had a shark remap and it has maybe improved by 2 -3 mpg

didnt remap mine to improve mpg though.

having done my own calculation i found the readout to be about 10% optimistic.

Just an excuse to get a remap I suppose !!!

Mine is remapped with a bluefin and no gain in MPG id say you have a fault somewhere to only be getting 12.9 MPG! I get 23 ish around the doors.
