Hi Guys, as many of you will know, I have been an avid Skoda fan since I worked for the brand (2001 - 2008).

I have a brilliant little MKI vRS Fabia with one or two very subtle mods but want to make a few changes in the future, the next one being with the interior light - the MKI Superb has a "Warm" red glow provided by 2 red LEDs in the interior light unit - will this work on the Fabia if I get one and install it?!

I am also keen to add footwell lighting (I know there is a thread on the forum but there are no real thechnical guides) in addition to the "puddle lights" I have added myself.

Any other ideas much appreciated!

I had these red LED lights on my golf when i had that, very interested to hear if you find out how to get them in the vRS and then some pics!

I have a w8 style light bought it off some guy on ed38 works fine

Cool, thanks for the info! Just a straight swap or is there some messing about to do with wires etc?

Mine is a standard interior lamp with the LEDs fitted and they have there own feed so the earth for the LEDs is on the roof and the live from the headlight switch the normal lights are wired up normally hope this helps

Yes bud lol the only think that annoys me a bit is that it shines onto my centre arm rest and I'd rather it shine on the rear stick

Yep its happening isnt it. Not merging though, just working together as separate authorities. Doesnt make much difference for minions like us though!

I have superskoda's led kit in mines, 4 in each reading light and 12 in the main light. They sell led's for the doors too.
