2006 1.9TD L&K When cold, engine fires-up easily everytime, however when hot or left to cool intermittent starting experienced.

Starter motor cranks-over engine but it does not fire resulting in red warning light "stop engine / oil pressure / consult manual" appearing on dashboard.

Advice sought, if you've had the same or similar problem resolved, please tell me what was done. Thanks

Read this thread, started by me with my (still ongoing) cold start issues, however there are a few comments towards the end on warn srarting issues too.

I think one solution was the cam sensor?

The fact you are getting a warning light relating to the oil pressure would suggest that your problem may be unrelated to those linked above.

You will be better to have the car checked for any fault codes that are stored on its computer, either you local dealer or a friendly member with VCDS will be able to read it for you and diagnose the issue.

After much searching upon advice by Just Answer specialist, there was a fault with ECU. Once repaired car runs as it did. Recommend the ECU DOCTOR for repair.
