I am picking up my car this week and wondering what I can do to it without burning the warranty :thumbdwn: .

Apart from the Remap, what easily installed add-ons/improvements would die-hard fans and current owners recommend for an unmodified car which will not void the warranty.....links to sites or suppliers welcome

i'd say that no modification is "safe" due to the nature of the warranty on the car.

if you change the air filter like i have and the MAF goes pete tong then they wont change that under warranty for you.

any fault that can be linked to a mod will be void i would have thought.

to be honest you takes your chances and does what you want.

induction kit or panel filter, exhaust and remap are about the favourites to start with.

ask your dealer, some dealers can wangle it, for you i asked the question before buying my octy 'if i do any mods will this void the warrenty?' the answer was 'we modifie our cars so it wont be a problem you doing it to yours'.. at the end of the day its a head office that grants the work to be done under warrenty they only go by what the dealer says caused the problem....
