Discount on a yeti, is there such a thing?

Featured Replies

I,m making enquiries about buying a 2.0 tdi 110 se 4x4, I see on the Internet that you can get a discount of up to £2000, but after ringing a couple of dealers for their " best price" they say they will get back to me and and no ones bothered yet!!!! So my question is can you get money off the list price an what have you all paid? Btw I would like to factory order a car and pick it up in June, which seems to me to be about the normal time to wait..... Cheers mat

Discounts are available from dealers, I received a good discount from Allams Skoda in Epsom. I would normally say contact James Rothwell at Allams as he has supplied many people on the forum with all manner of Skoda's. But he doesn't work for them any more as he is trying to sell sand to the Arabs emoticon-0140-rofl.gifemoticon-0140-rofl.gif.

Well maybe not, but he is in Dubai now....

BUT, it is still worth sending him a PM, if you look up James Rothwell as that is now his user name, as he did say originally that he might still be able to supply cars, just not be present at handover.

You could also try Beth or Karen at Allams Skoda( 01372 743322). They are both very helpful.

I work for Skoda sales and we are always willing to do a best price, sadly we dont give discounts on the yeti over the phone due to such high demand.

you will always get a best price once you are in the showroom with a deposit in your hand. (sorry this isnt a great help but it may help with a bit of discount)

Try the online brokers. I used Autofinders and got a BIG discount. There are other brokers too, names don't spring to mind at the moment.

Thank you all for your help, auto finders looks very interesting, please keep the information/ ideas coming.... Cheers mat

I always visit my local dealer in person and they always do me a good deal as I pay a deposit there and then.

So far I've ordered three Yeti and a Fabia off them. Preston Motors in East London. But probably too far for you.

I printed the Autofinders quote email and took it with me when i went for the test drive, dealer pretty much matched it.

That was Rainworth Skoda, mansfield.

Tried Gordon Lambs in Chesterfield they wouldnt discuss a discount at all.

I'm picking mine up from Rainworth tomorrow (horay!!!!). They gave me a discount and altered the spec of an ordered demo model to my spec, Aqua blue, park assist, spare wheel, mudflaps, Elegance 140 bhp 4x4. I ordered on 12/09/11 and they got it last week. Go to Skodastore.com eneter your spec and they will email you. Good luck

I bought a one-owner Yeti, a few weeks old, with 80 miles on the clock, for £4000 less than list. And I didn't have to wait for it.

One might think this was unrepeatable, but several others have come up since. People, and companies, do sometimes buy things and then find their circumstances or requirements have changed. One just has to look hard, be ready to act at a few hours' notice, and not mind a long trip to do the deal.

Hi,

Drop me a PM of what spec Yeti you'd like and I can sort out a price for you if you like!

Delivery mileage might be a bit OTT, though :giggle:
