New owner

Featured Replies

10 days into ownership and I've found a little red light low down on the central door pillar - what's it for?

Still finding things to look up in the owners manual :giggle:

I presume its the same as my VW Golf. I only knew about that same wee red light after I had the car over 2 years when a back passenger pointed it out to me. Had to look up the handbook and apparently you press it when leaving if you have a dog in the car so the internal sensors don't activate the alarm. I presume it's the same on the Yeti.

Think your referring to the internal alarm sensor deactivation switch; allows you to lock the car with for example a pet dog inside without it setting the alarm off.

Pet welfare notice: please don't leave pets in a car for long periods particularly warm weather

It is a red switch when you press it it should turn orange,

This is the switch to disable the motion detector (vehicle rocking) when you are on a ferry. More details are in the manual.

Isn't there an option in the Maxi dot to ask you for reduced guard every time you switch off the engine?
