You are kidding?

One can wish.

What makes you think it's got a diesel engine?

Everything I've read so far about the evo IX says it's just an evolution (no pun intended) of the evo VIII.

I may have made a mistake here, ive just checked again and what it says is "Mitsubishi's evo lX is launched this june"

Ive then checked the list of cars for 2005 and it says "Mitsubishi evo lX/grandis diesel.

I now think this means both the evo lX and the grandis mpv thing are out in june

The word diesel and evo on the same page has that effect :D Got to excited sorry.

There is a video of the evo 9 on scoobynet, certainly is not a diesel.

Well, Porsche are experimenting with diesel and hybrid technology. I wonder how long it'll be. The idea's not as incredible as it might have been even 5 years ago.

I was just looking for this new Evo, and was convinced that there has been no change to what they now call the evo ix. So i compared the last few evo's. Not a lot of difference in any of them.

Older ones are more noticably different, 7,8,9 all look the same :(

The only difference between the EVO8 and 9:

1. The EVO 9 will have a MIVEC tuned engine as standard

2. The EVO9 has a new front bumper and rear valance

Thats it, simple as that.

The reason i know, i test drove and EVO8 Fq340  yesterday and the salesman said that was going to be to only difference. I'm not changing the Skoda just the perks of Mitsubishi sponsorship deal for rallying :D

Cheers

Si

I think the 1st yellow one is the new FQ400 it has some Air flow Baffles on the roof at the rear to direct air onto the rear spoiler. Needs a service every 4k

The Air flow Baffles on the roof at the rear are going to be on the new EVO9 as standard apparently but unfortunalty they are not going to bring out an FQ400 in the 9. They only made 100 of them in the EVO8 and still 60 remain unsold. Probably because their 47grand
