Audi TT subframe, wishbones, hubs, rack etc

Featured Replies

Would anyone be interested in a complete front subframe off a TT? Would come with cast wishbones, steering rack, hubs, ARB etc. Perfect handling upgrade.

Job lot for £600 or make me a sensible offer?

Is this the same as the LCR with the cast wishbones etc?

Does the TT have a quick rack?

Yes and Yes

fwd or 4x4, 180 or 225, as only 225 have the quickrack, otherwise its the same rack that we have, if its a 4x4 it will need flanges changing for our hubs too?

FWD & 225

there werent any fwd 225s, 225s were all 4x4 so the hubs will need modification

Its a Mk1 225 convertible (a friends) with a knackered engine. Apologies - he told me it was FWD.

yep will need new hubs and bearings to beable to fit !!!

also price is high considering you will need to spend 100+ on hubs and bearings

great mod though

Could the OEM Octavia VRS hubs be used with the audi wishbones and other bits to work? Is this when you need that washer?

yes they can and yes thats when you need the washer (using the tt wishbones and balljoints)

i think you need to drop the price on the setup to sell, especially as it means whoever buys if they want to use the tt hubs will have to spend a fair bit converting.

i can get this whole setup for £300 so you would need to lower your price to sell to others imo be a bit more realistic
