Fancy a challenge?

I would love to have a go at this, but does anyone know what parts are like to come by.

I have a Motor Road test for a 1963 Octavia Super. 0-60 in 21.7 secs, top speed 80.9mph, and 29.1mpg. It needs mixture grade petrol to avoid pinking. 'Servicing requirements are quite stringent - 1000 miles intervals are the minimum for chassis greasing , while a greae cup for lubricating the water pump appears quaint.' Gearbox and rear axle oils need changing every spring and autumn and the engine needs SAE 20/40 oil.

1.8T conversion perhaps?

I have an Octavia badge from that era stuck to my fridge at home if someone from here does end up buying it , and also an owners manual somewhere as well

'The brake pedal moves a long way against heavy return spring force before a result is obtained, and the stopping power was not very good. This was mainly due to premature locking of the rear wheels and, as with the handling, braking was better with a full load of passengers.'

Ok , so add some better brakes to the list of mods.

Or possibly a large anchor to throw out the back when you need to stop

Dragster style parachutes ;)
