Featured Replies

ok

I have asked this question before but i just want to confirm i have all the answers. I am treating my octavia to new suspension at the front end

1. I believe i need springs, shock absorbers and top mounts.Anything else?

2. Can anybody reccomend a website where to buy these parts?

3. Does anybody near Colchester have spring compressors i can borrow?

Many thanks

Richard

hi Richard,

try doing the rears at the same time, it will make a lot of difference, as the whole lot will be matched, unless you have done them already?

avs, or gsf if you are buying stock.

Be sure you get the top mounts with bearings

Koni FSD and H&R lowered springs. All from Awesome GTI.

Hi mate, you said the other day that's what you're going for on yours? Could I have another go in it once they're fitted, I'd be interested to see how the ride with matched springs and dampers compares to the coilies I had. Have you had a go in Simons with the Weitecs?
