Was reading PVW and golf+ at work today and both featured a article about forge releasing an uprated actuator for 1.4tsi engines.... Just thought id through that out there for anyone intrested : )

Its another generic forge shiny part IMO. If it causes anywhere near as many of the issues as the BOV does, then i wouldnt touch it with a barge pole.

They are also not a simple bolt on part. They need to be adjusted to make it right which will take ages, otherwise you couldcause lots of issues with the operation if its to stiff or loose

Iv read enough bad reviews about forge and the tsi engine to stay away from them with it,

Tbh it looked just like all the other turbo valve type things they have brought out

Thats my engine in the pic they put it on ages ago for me for free to test it made no difference whatsoever .

Wouldnt buy one unless it was to replace a worn factory one as i dont think dealers will set up wastegates so have to buy new turbo from reports ive heard elsewhere
