Ordered my yeti 2.0 tdi se 4x4 yesterday, 6/7 month wait, I knew it was going to be this long , but the months are going to drag!!! On a lighter note, I've got some mudfaps front and rear already, I'm also going to put in an mdi for my iPhone , and if I can vag hands free.. My yeti is coming with towbar prep and I will be fitting the towbar myself ( done this many times, very easy) , so hopefully when she arrives I'll have a pile of toys to put on her...... Carnt wait..

Ordered my S 1.2 DSG last April and have been promised a build start at the end of January, so your 6/7 month wait seems reasonable !

I also ordered toward prep and am having tow bar and reversing sensors fitted. If you are doing it yourself and the sensors are fitted on your car don't forget that the sensors need to be re-programmed or else the sensors will apparently sound whenever you are towing.

The reprogramming also gives you:

alarm cover against trailer being unplugged

additional stability control parameters

turns off rear fog when electrics connected

reprogrammes the indicators to sense the trailer

reprogrammes the bulb failure system to sense the trailer bulbs

The reprogramming is NOT of the rear sensors but of the internal car computer.

I have various vas machines at my disposal..... So the coding is not an issue.

I carnt believe it, just spoke to my skoda dealer and he says my yeti is built and at the dockside in emden waiting to come to Grimsby . It's been a wait, but I just tried to forget that I'd ordered one and looking back dosent seem so bad now... The wife's going to be happy.
