how do folks,

got a 1.9td x plate and my dash binnacle is so intermitent, loose the rev counter,fuel, temp and speedo, but the rest of the lights etc work,

ive got a binnacle from 03 octavia,

so first questions are

will it swap over ok ?

if i remove the binnacle will it effect the immobiliser like the mk4 golf ?

feels like speed cameras are a russian roulette lol

Yup swapping the dash will cause immobiliser problems as its coded to the ecu you could try re soldering your dash to fix your problems think there's a how to somewhere. Other options is removing the immobiliser which requires coding. I think shark are able to supply dashes without the coding for the ecu or something lol

swapping will require recoding of the new unit (yep, immo problem)
