This one has got me wondering lol

The Supurb climate control unit looks the same as the Octy one, but if you press a button it'll beep. Pressing certain buttons together can turn it on or off, tried it on the octy and it don't work. If i get my hands on a Supurb climate unit will it fit and beep???

Fed up of swmbo pressing turning the heating down when i'm not looking lol

wiring may be different (expecting the same connectors but different pin assignments). i know for a fact that pre and post facelift octavias have different pin assignments. rearranging wires might do the trick pretty easy
