Anyone had their car partially or completely vinyl wrapped clear?

Anyone had their car partially or completely vinyl wrapped clear?

I thought about doing it with cling film to keep the car 'fresh as the day I bought it' emoticon-0105-wink.gif

Lol jonny boy! Wrapping it in clear vinyl would be pretty easy just Google for a local vinyl wrapper place. Dunno who's had it done here but I am aware people who love their cars have done it. I doubt the finish would stay good though.

Hard to wax and keep shiney?

i wraped the back of my car into black metalic so it looks alot better now with the black roof and stuff

Yes, a few years ago I had a Land Rover done.

It takes the shine off the paint, but does protect the paint very well.

After two years, 57k miles and a few offroading expeditions (including Morocco) it was as good as new when the vinyl was removed.

So it will protect the paint very well, but it won't look as good as an unwrapped car.

Enjoy the shiny paint while it lasts. Use it up and wear it out.

Don't cover it in matt so the next guy gets the shiny paint you should be enjoying now.

I used to have a boss who bought a £15k new car every 3 years and immediately covered the seats in £3.99 Charlie Brown nylon seat covers. He sat on these awful sweaty things for 3 years then took them off so the next owner got seats like new!
