Does anyone know if it is possible to get them to stay on when i put my normal lights on? like with a reprogram? ps im non maxidot if that makes a difference.

No its not possible for them to stay on.

DRLS are meant to be seen in daylight, at night if they were on they would be very blinding and dazzling. I find them bad enough in poor daylight, so I can only imagine how bad they are at night.

Type approval requires them to dim or go off when the headlights are switched on and as such cannot be programmed otherwise.

Ah fair enough, i wish they would just dim when headlights are switched on, but if its not to be then its not to be, thanks for your reply!

You could wire them into an ignition live if you are reducing the brightness.

But obviously you've have to look into the legal implications for light brightness/location.

I think you can get away with them dimming with the lights on.

AFAIK they either have to stay off or dim with the lights on.

You can buy kits of ebay that dim them with the lights on. Search for them.
