Airbag light faults?

They normally come on after a plug has been disturbed, ANY airbag plug that is removed and the ignition turned on will put the light on.

You then need a VCDS owner or dealer to turn them back off again (once the 'problem' has been rectified) if you are unsure which airbag has set the warning off then a scan will confirm the faulty airbag.

That was helpful! I have one on too and I think it could be a connection issue. It came on not long after I changed the battery. I do not know if this is relative.

yep a total loss of power or poor battery voltage (ie disconnection) could cause the light to show.but just needs checked and then cleared
