Hi,

Own a superb 2.5 with sun roof. A few weeks ago I was driving along and the sunroof opened by itself. Not the slide back full open, but the pop up at the rear to get a bit of air, open. Turned the dial to open then back again and it closes but as soon as it does it pops open again.

Took it to a non skoda mechanic and he could not see any obstructions issues.

With the cold weather kicking in, this has become a pain in the top of the head :-)

Any one experienced this, got any ideas?

Short term, I'd either unplug the motor, or remove the fuse if it does not cover anything else important. Then, remove the cover at the motor, take out that cranking handle and manually close the window. Sort properly when its almost summer!
