fabia lowering springs

Featured Replies

does anybody known where i can get fabia lowering springs from that give you a drop more than 30mm

thanks

james

If i remember correctly, Eibach do a springset, called lowline or something that will drop a car about 60mm... atho not sure they do a setup suitable for a Fabia... and i definately wouldnt advise it on a TDI/RS as the engine hangs so low

H&R have a spring set too...I have a set that lowered mine about that much or more...can't remember...

Eibach do a -30mm kit as do H&R. I don't advise going any lower as your sump guard will hit the floor.

And also make sure you get the vRS ones ;)

There was a set of cobras 50mm on ebay the other day, think they were going for good money

Only way to be able to "test" the lowering is get some adjustable coilovers and then experiment with various heights to see how they work with potholes/kerbs/speed bumps, etc.

At least thats what I'll be doing soon. :D

Take a look under the car and see how close the sump is to the ground even on standard springs. The PD TDI is a tall engine! I think Jason's right - fit coilovers then you can set them really low for posing and raise them again for normal driving...
