Hello and a question

Featured Replies

Bonjour......

New to the forum having purchased a 56 plate Octavia estate 2 days ago. A question for any gurus, my keyfob when pressed only unlocks the drivers door, which is fine for me but the missus isn't too happy stood in the rain while I unlock the rest of the car using the internal switch. The owners manual mentions 'single door opening mode' which I am assuming has been activated, how do I deactivate it so all doors unlock together?

cheers......Andy

Press it twice and it will open the rest. It's easy to reprogram to all door opening with either dealer diag equipment or see if someone local to you has VCdS.

Hello Andy and welcome along

Press unlock once and the drivers door unlocks, press it twice and all the doors including tailgate unlock, it is a ball ache though.

Afaik to get one click unlocking activated so as it does all doors and tailgate with one press you need to find someone close to you with VCDS that'll do it for you or, if you got the car from a main dealer nip back and see if they'll do it for you f.o.c.
