Hi,

could anybody please tell me what VAG models cross reference for a mk1 Octavia VRS o/s/r door lock assy. I know they cross over with the Leon, but are there any other models that may be doners?.

Does anybody happen to know approximately what the cost of an official Skoda new unit is?. Is sourcing a used unit a risky venture - could I end up with the same non functioning unit that I already have?. Are there any third party repair kits for these locks?

Thanks for that, is the chance of picking up a dodgy lock high or are they a good used buy generally.

My one has packed up so I'm exploring my options.
