The plastic thingy in headlights for the indicator bulb.

Featured Replies

Refurbing my oem headlights and spraying that chrome bit black as my recent eBay cheapy's are not working to good. (Not what I thought they were).

Anyway, I've stripped the lens away and now wondering if the plastic thingy in the indicator housing can be removed?

For looks obviously or is it essential for the indicator flashes?

Edit: the brightness is the flash off my camera.(phone)

It's a lense, so it helps spread the light for oncoming motorists, not sure if theres a specific need for mot purposes?

Makes the lights more interesting to look at but not sure how brittle it is.... can you mask it up with careful hands?

I'll probably leave it now, looking at the way it's spread my camera flash.

Any other mod I could do while they're stripped??
