The March 2012 edition of the Scottish Field Magazine has a feature entitled "The greatest 4x4's of all time - 10 of the best" They do not make any comparisons between the 10 vehicles but just say nice things about each vehicle. The Yeti is in there and they say :-

On-Road handling that is close to the brilliance of a VW Golf GTI, matched by off-road capability that will surmount all but the most extreme hazards of a Scottish winter. And then add build-quality better than a Mercedes. What's not to like?

The Skoda Superb 4x4 is also included in the 10 and is described as the best car money can buy, best build quality, best finish, the most enjoyable driving dynamics and highest degree of comfort.

Quite an accolade for Skoda having two out of the 10 vehicles chosen.

Er - the Fiat Panda 4x4 is also included in the list.

The fiat panda should be too as its very capable and had stood the test of time . Good to see the Yeti in there too.
