Vibe sub help

Hello,

recently got a vibe active sub which i installed in my fabia, ive got to the point where the leds on the sub light up, but it produces no noise at all, ive checked all the connections but no joy anyone have any ideas?

Thanks andrew, but no success - here is some more information:

When everything is connected up EXCEPT the remote from stereo to amp the +12v to ground reads 11volts

When the remote is conneted up the reading falls to 4.8v so the sub is not getting the minimum 10v required to power up, ive tried different remotes but that results in the same reading

What do?!

What do?!

How are you providing power to the sub? Dedicated cable or a splice into the loom? Ideally it should be dedicated. Also, if you've an ipod or similar, you could try using the headphone outlet on that to feed signal to the sub. Just in case it's actually fine but waiting for an input signal.
