Wheel offset needed for 4wd 2.0 D Estate?

Featured Replies

I am looking for a spare set of alloy wheels for my car - what is the minimum offset required?

it is a 2007 model

Thanks

I would think that anything between 40 and 50 should work OK.

I run 42 on my Winters and 50 on my summers (My car is a Scout) but I also use 15mm spacers on the rear.

Thanks - I have seen a set of alloys with 39 offset so presumably won't fit!

I'm running 205/55/16 winter tyres on 7Jx16 ET35 wheels on my vRS with no problems. ET42 with 15mm spacers is equivalent to ET27. What tyre size will you be using, and what width are the wheels?

39 should be fine unless the wheels are uber wide. I only run the et42 with 15mm spacers on the back as this combo would come out beyond the arches on the front.
