I am having fabia facelift vr2 and i would like to get the projector headlamps fitted to this rather than the normal ones i would need suggestion from the forum if:

Is it worth replacing the whole set and will it fit.

What would be the price and where to buy it from(TO india)

Aah not in this part of the world, to bring the price down they have removed certain features like projector headlamps,arm rest, cooled glove box, rear wiper and have put in the beat audio system.

Thanks for the information but i am looking for standard projectors as myne is a beige colour and i do not think monte carlo ones would lokk good, any other site which ships, and is this better than the normal lamps fitted in my fabia.

yes, but my point is that the producer is Skoda Auto, a.s

So i think the easyest and cheapest way is to take the partnumber and run it by your local skoda dealer, Mayby they can get the hold of it

yes, the lighting isnt that good. Ive got a 55w HID 8000K kit in my projektors and they ok, but not good. Most definently better then standards.

Just fitted night breaker bulbs to the wife's Fabia II FL in the hope that they will improve the standard gloom ahead. The projector lenses are very poor in my book and not worth bothering with.

I've tried 6000K H7 xenon kit, but it was rubbish in projector headlight IMO.

Now I've Philips X-treme Vision for low beam, way better than xenons.

Also fitted Bosch Plus 90 for high beam, also nice choice

Thanks for you suggestions.. so i will stay with the old headlamps(But the projector headlamp kind of gives a good look for the car), can you post links from where i can buy good headlamp bulbs, i am thinking of fixing(White light) probably called Xenons.....

I have Philips HIDs and they are WAY better than any filament bulb on the market.

I suggest that there was either a fault with your HID system, or it was fitted incorrectly.

Fitting decent HIDs to any projector improves them dramatically.

Try 4300K Xenon bulbs, than you will see the lighting of 6000s are rubbish

did you buy the 35w or thw 55w? ive got the 55w and its MUCH better then OEM and nightbreakers! (mine is alsow 8000k)

and remebmer, there is 2 different types of projektor headligts for the fabia 5j. one with 2 bulps and one with 1 bulp.
