Skoda Fabia VRS -

Featured Replies

The more and more I'm thinking about it, the more and more it makes sense to sell, borrow my brothers car, and then buy my (realistic) dream car.........

I'm in no rush to sell, and I may break it if I don't get the money I want.

Here are some pictures.

Bad points:

. Stone chip city from motorway driving! Never bothered me really though......

. Gearbox has always been a bit iffy going from 3rd to 2nd. Again never botherd me, and I was gonna swap my box for another plus LSD, however I'm not prepared to spend money on a car I'm about to sell.

. Strut bearing is knocking. £20 part to fix.

. Receptions a bit poor with Sharkfin aerial in built up places.

. Car park dints

. The usual Spoiler Delaquriing.

(if £3500 is reached, I'll get the spoiler resprayed, strut bearing done, and buy a standard aerial)

No P/X I'm afraid (Unless it's an R26.R, which I can P/X against.)

Oh, plate NOT INCLUDED! It's actual reg is AF54 KZX

I have to put a price, and thus £6.5k, but open to (sensible) offers.

Nice car bud, let me know if your stripping any parts off it

Good luck with the sale

Shame to see you're selling it rather than turning it into a real beast. But I understand your logic. :)

GLWTS.

If it's not sold by April, I'll probaly just spend the money saved up, and modifiy it more.........

£6000 is new price.

I'm more than happy to listen to offers of swapping standardish cars + cash, so my original comment about P/Xing can be removed lol.

I have FSH until Neil, who owned it before me, me and Neil are both Aerospace engineers, so more than qualified to complete servicing........ I do it every 6 months (Oil, filters), he did it every 12k, (oil change every 6k though). Next one's due end of May.

Got literally thousands of pounds of reciepts, TPS reciepts for servicing stuff, modificaitons etc.

How I wish I were in the market for a fabia !

Could never afford to mod to this level but really want too lol

I'd love this :)

First dibs on the cooler and piping if you do decide to break :)

Cheers

If we're doing dibs, 1st dibs on the alloys if they're going for a sensible price.;)

No "dibs" in this thread or any thread! I only roll on first monies in paypal account rule.

I'm not breaking at minute, and wouldn't be till mid April anyway, so let's just see if someone wants to buy the car of swap their car plus cash,

I would take £5500, or £4500 with a MD376 Hybrid turbo. (Obviosuly power will be lower, like 200-210bhp).

  • 3 weeks later...

CAR PROVISIONALLY SOLD (Deposit paid)

Unfornaltey that means that I can't break it now, I'm really sorry :-(

Modifications to sell though, however:

GTB2260VK exhaust manifold

GTB2260VK downpipe (to fit onto Milltek system).

pm'd

Good news on hopefully selling it.

I was curious how this car was going to turn out with the Darkside Developments kit on it. But looks like that has been sold on?
