I am on my fourth Skoda now 07 Fabia Bohemia Estate 1.9tdi and sadly its proving to be the most unreliable with various problem including major suspension fault whilst under warranty and now faults on both electric front windows. I signed up mainly so I could use the search engine to see if others had experienced similar problems and I see they have.

It started off as an intermittent fault gradually getting worse until now its permanent. The key in lock reset method worked a couple of time in the past but no longer so I finally took it in to the Main Dealer where it has always been serviced. After checking inc. computer check that told me that both wiring looms had got water in and needed replacing at a cost of around £540.

So it is booked in for repair but it seems to me that wiring looms should not fail on modern cars within four and a half years and I am considering a claim from Skoda UK or action in the Small Claims Court although I am not sure whether the Sales of Goods Act applies in this case. Any suggestions or persons with similar experience would be welcome.
