rear interior lamps

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am going to fit rear interior lamps in my VRS, and up until this weekend I was going to use the small ones used in the other posts on here that fit inside the grab handle,

What has muddied the water for me is that my father in law got a mk4 golf this weekend which has larger lamps fitted forward of the grab handle, Has anyone on here fitted or tried to fit these in an Octavia - is there sufficient room behind the headlining for the larger lamp?.

I would like to fit these lamps if poss as they come on with the doors, but can be inependently switched on as well.

Hopefully someone has tried this and has good news for me.

I actually have a set of them I am looking to get rid of. I got them to do the mod but picked up the ones that are normally used. It will be the same setup which you can use independently. Think they have three settings on them?

If you want them, drop me an email. Also have the smaller ones that sit behind the sun visor.

I got a pair of Audi smoked ones from the scrappers the other day for £3!! Trying to find time to fit them, has the 3 way switch in them too got a right bargain :giggle:

I got some out of a mk3 Astra that a friend was weighing in for scrap lol, there pretty slim and have a 3 way switch on/off/door and cost nothing so even better :)

Ooo gonna have a look for some of them too! Never thought about looking at astras! The audi ones were from a a6 and were in the plastic on the rear pillar, might do two sets in the rear pillar and on the roof
