What are Skoda Dealers like ?

Featured Replies

I pick my new Fabia VRS up on Tuesday or wednesday do you reckon the dealer will mind or charge for that matter if i ask them to remove the black side strips and badges off the back of the car ? Also how have people found them in general, im getting mine from Horners in Bury and them seem to be very nice guys . Does the fabia have any cup holders , if so what are they like . Polo or Ibiza ?

Cheers

Have you even seen the car your buying?!

Yeah course i have but i forgot to have proper look inside. I bough the car while i was with the girlfriend and shes not into cars one bit so i thought i'd be quick with the sale ! I usually know a car inside and out before i buy one but i had to be quick buying this car cause it was on offer and it was the last one they had !

No cup holders, other than the grooves in the glove box I'm afraid. Do a search on here though for a guide on how to fit one in the slot to the left of the radio. :) As for dealers, check out the reviews section of the site and you should find people's opinions on Horners. Of the 3 Skoda dealers I've encountered, 2 have been fantastic and one has been dire. :)

I've got three cup holders...one right next to me right where the rear AC would usually be :D

just spoke to the dealer and they wont remove the black side mouldings for fear of cracking the paint work ! so if i want it doing then i will have to do it myself . Cheers for the info on the cupholders aswell

I think dealers are a personal preference. Some people like 100% service whereas other people like to be left alone. I've had experience of 2 and one was fantastic (where I bought the car) and the other was ok (where I live). Pop in, you can usually tell within a couple of minutes whether they're ok or not.
