Does the 1.6 tdi, fl version, have one, or does it just have the oil pressure warning light ?

anybody experienced low oil levels without any warning lights ?

I haven't experienced this but tbh its not a feature id worry about rather opting to actually check the dip stick regularly. If there is a low level sensor and that fails you'd be screwed to rely on it.

I'd a low oil level warning a couple of years back. I check the level regularly and it scared me being stuck in M25 traffic near Heathrow..

Topped up with 1 litre, expensively, in a dark cold motorway service station. The sump was overfull when I next checked.

I reckon it was only about 1/2 litre down from max. when the alarm went.
