April Fools!

Featured Replies

Thought April Fools were meant to finish at midday on Friday! Filled up the car with diesel on Friday evening and it's 88.9p a litre (up from the usual 87.9p a litre it was last Monday). Checked as I went passed this morning and it's now 89.9p a litre. Anyone know the reason for this sudden hike, or is it something to do with helping Labour get back into power at the forthcoming elections with a last minute cutting of fuel prices

Chris

I did read something over the weekend that oil prices are rising again and are likely to hit $100 a barrel for the first time ever. MIght have something to do with that.

I have tried a tank of that ultimate diesel out in my car for the 1st time. 93.9p / litre (

when I tried a month on BP ulti stuff I didn't notice any difference in power or mpg, but it did run smoother.

I did a couple of thousand miles on BP Ultimate diesel , and the car was slightly smoother and quicker to warm up in the morning. It also got about 2 mpg extra over the course of the month.

I was wondering the same thing... are we at war again or something?
