hi everybody, im new to this forum, its only recently ive developed an obsession with skoda's and im not sure why. possibly as my felicia is constantly abused by my peers who like a lot of people seem to be unaware that it is actually a very good car. (and these people drive pugs and fords so really dont have a leg to stand on).

anywya, as mentioned i have a N reg felicia glxi 1.3, my first car, and the first car of my brothers and so the last 20000 miles of its 107k have seriously taken their toll on the poor engine.

im an automotive engineering student and so am actually looking forward to needing to fix or service my car, but i really want a project possibly a rapid but even they stretch my student budget. alternatively if anyone was to give me a fabia vrs im willing to forget the project idea.

Jon.

Welcome :wavey:

Welcome! I don't think skoda have ever made a bad car. They just got caught up in the FSO and Lada jokes.Which is good from our point of view!

A Rapid project would be interesting

Welcome

yeah, the 1.3 is lacking power but on the country roads its so much fun thanks to soft suspension and ludicrous body roll, but its also precise enough to go where you want it whilst scaring the mother who thinks otherwise.
