my heater wasnt as good as my mk1 so i decided to have a look at the pollen filter and as soon as i opened the sliding door was greeted by a mass of leaves and dead bugs etc! dont think main dealer had ever done it! vacumed out and new filter and heater is great!

Should have been done on the 20k inspection, but you'd by surprised just how quick they fill up.

Yep, take a look - often you get leaves stuck around that area. The edges then start vibrating and you get a buzzing from that when the fan's on.

Or pay and display tickets are quite common, the sort you leave on the dash.
