Evening all

Featured Replies

Good evening. Just thought I would say hello as I have just become the proud? owner of a 2002 Octavia VRS.

Paid £50 for it, replaced the turbo, got an MOT and changed the spark plugs, thermostat and ECT sensor.

Took advantage of the Skoda recall for the coil packs (they even washed it!) just wondering whether to keep it or just take the money and run.

In two minds because all in all it goes quite well but have a niggling doubt as to if it will stay that way. (about 4 years of neglect from previous owner)

Full service history up to 99000 miles then nothing up until the 122000 that its done now.

So what do you lot reckon?

No real idea about value. Anything over £300 would put me in profit.

Am sort of hoping someone out there may convince me to keep it but if not a nice Mondeo diesel would seem the sensible option.

So come on all you Skoda lovers. Help me out.

Should it stay or should it go?

Looking forward to some healthy debate and opinions.

Pete
