Attaching Photos

Featured Replies

Help required to attach photos to a post.

How do members arrange for the size of their photos to look good on the site? Are they automatically resized, or is it up to the person attaching the file.

I note that there is a comment "max single file size 500k". Does this mean that each photo cannot be any larger than 500k, or does it mean the 500k includes all the photos to be included in the posting?

I'm sure someone will be along to help you, I usually upload to photo bucket then cop the link for forums :-)

I use "Photobucket". Upload there your photos and just use the direct link of that pic.

Still waiting to hear from all you photographers.

Does "Photobucket" send pics direct to Briskoda, or only a link to click on?

First you upload your photo to your Photbucket account. Then you place your mouse at the desired photo. After that photobucket will show you underneath a small table of four choises, then you click on "direct link" and the address will be copied instantly. Then you come over here, press the "image" button and paste the address. Alternatively you can use the img tag enclosed to square brackets then your adress and then again /img in sqaure brackets, and then you are done. I will write you an example but I will use the parenthesis symbol instead of sqaure bracket symbol. You must use square brackets.

(img) http:// paste here your photo's address you copied from photobucket (/img)

That means that our forum is contacting Photobucket via your photo's address, fetches the photo and make the photo visible to us. But if you use the "link" button instead of the "image" button, then we will have to click on your photo's address in order to see your photo. Remember if you use the 'image' button (recomended) then you don't need to use the img tag.
