Goodbye chocolate cogs - need more room for sprogs

Featured Replies

Chopped in the VRS for an Octy! SWMBO talked me round.

Not that much room in the VRS2 hatch-fab for our swedish flatpacks. Yes we could get them home quick in the VRS but the kids kept complaining about the lack of comfort in the roof-box, and lack of heating and oxygen and stuff. Moaning minors!

Rest In Peace briefly at the stealers Casper (I know) you were much loved from August 2010 to March 2012. You were a heavy drinker when we first met, but you learned moderation after first emptying the North Sea oil fields. Together we always had a blast.

In fact back in August 2010 I was the only VRS2 owner present and blathering on Briskoda (unless of course you know different).

Same engine and dry choc-box in this Octy beastie, lacks a supercharger though. I should have unbolted that.

Au Revoir Fab peeps, its been good through both mk1 and mk2.

I’m gone.

Gone, but not forgotten.

Couldn't you just leave the kids at home though? :)

Recognise the problem, as struggled to pack my son up to go to Uni last year. That said, SWMBO had to come too so therefore so did my younger son which meant I couldn't drop the back seats (mothers). First time since buying the Fabia i perhaps wished i'd gone for the Octy vRS instead. However, that was the one and only time i regretted my purchase.

Know what you mean, just chopped my Fabia Estate (not Vrs) in for an Octy as Grandchild due soon and more space needed...Fabia was fine but the Octy is in a class above TBH...loving it

See you on the `Other` channel maybe

I had an Octavia Elegance as a courtesy car a while back and was glad to be back in the Fabia! Octavia is a bit meh unless in vRS spec.
