Hi I think this may have been done before but today I kerbed my Dark Chrome Alloy and wondered how easy and successfully they can be done.

The damage to mine is only on the rim but covers over half of the wheel, I sure it is not serious but cosmetically it looks bad and I'm sure after time moisture will get under the paint.

Can anyone who has had work done on their Dark Chrome Alloy let me know how good it was and of cause the cost and who done it for you.

Spit and Polish will do it for £40 - based in Tonbridge, Kent.

They will re-cut the face as its sounds like that is the bit damaged.

Looked at my Dark Chromes today, although no kurbing I have a few marks in the laquer - warranty job :(

Well mines gone off to a company called Lepsons in Gillingham, they strip them right back, repair, re- cut, paint and lacquer. I hope it should come back as good as new.

Lepsons are one of the best in the business. They have one in Swindon as well. Did you send them the tyre and alloy or leave your car with them?

They have the tyre and alloy so i'm driving on the steel spare at the moment which is no problem as I only need to travel a few miles until I get it back on Friday

Well I didn't get it back until today as they had to get the black paint ordered but it is a fantastic job, as good as new. Not the cheapest but as my car is only 3 months old it had to have the best.

Glad it's a good job, Lepsons have one of my Dark Chromes. I dont mind paying the price for a top job.

Yes I did, I was recommended Lepsons in kent, it was only when i researched them on the internet that i realised they had a shop in swindon.

I pick it up Friday so will report back. Hope I'm as impressed as Hammer32.
